“The room was delightful, spotlessly clean and with good facilities, including an iron and ironing board. It was also in a fabulous location for exploring the cultural district of Porto.
It can be noisy at night if you aren't downstairs listening to the music but that said the accommodation is superb value for money. ”

“Holiday Inn was situated on hillside, at a decent residential area but far away from the city centre. My room was at 21st floor and I could had a bird's eyeview on the beautiful scenery of Porto. Yet, traffic was not convenient. We had to go down the slope a little bit for taxi. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. “Great experience, staff very friendly, helpfull and upbeat. Hotel does have interior parking but almost impossible to enter...a mercedes wagon won't be able to enter as the angle is tight and turning. We Were lucky to park on the street but we had the inconvinience to bring to the hotel 6 pieces of luggage as we didnt want to leave in car, just in case.other than that I truly recommend, tons of great restaurants, near rhe icean/beach (two blicks away) great boardwalk. 5. Very high quality and comfortable mattresses (important after long walks).
6. The funicular to get to the main bridge is a leisurely 10-minute walk away.
If (or when) I return to Porto, I will definitely consider this place.

“Breakfast fare / spread was excellent. This is a lovely hotel w very efficient staff manning the front office and kitchen.
However, the downsides: no kitchen for lunch or dinner. The eateries and shops are far away, although there is one eatery quite nearby, requiring one to walk out a bit. So, if one is ok w walking for quite a distance ( like me, ok, but it was cold outside!) or one has a car/ transport, this is indeed the right place.
For me, despite the cold, I enjoyed the long walk on……
